just a bit of fun







 
I don't really feel Christmassy yet but I did have the strong urge to bring some brightness into our gloomy days. I bought a box of cheap baubles at Ikea and on Tuesday, we spent an hour in the cold decorating our apple tree. It was fun. Even the cat enjoyed it. What about you? Are you getting exited about Christmas?

    I got out the decorations last night, though I am already feeling a bit overwhelmed by all the things that I want to make. Of course, it is all self-imposed stress! Cat in a tree - trying to get away from the new pup?

    We put the tree up yesterday (Sat 5th) so, as the irritating song they are playing on the tv ad goes, it's beginning to look a lot like Christmas. I'm still a bit Scrooge-like though in my spirit - not looking forward to facing the shops today with teenager who wants me to go into town with her to buy presents for her friends. Your bauble tree is lovely.

    I think that is a brilliant idea and it looks fantastic. I love how you can be a bit daft with home decor at Christmas. Not feeling very festive here, too busy packing and surrounded by boxes!
