May was a bit hectic for me with birthdays and Derek and I celebrating our Silver Wedding Anniversary, however that does not excuse me from such poor hosting. I have seen Tamsin's book on pies, but I am not very good at pastry, so try to avoid making it very often! I am so impressed that you made your own puff pastry, and am not at all surprised to hear that it tasted better than shop bought! I absoutely love Lemon Meringue pie, I haven't made one for years, I think you have put me in the mood to try one again! xPennyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03174324346613155013noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4515007843975800463.post-75801715474494367002017-05-07T17:50:17.458+01:002017-05-07T17:50:17.458+01:00Oooh, lemon meringue pie is one of my favourite pu...Oooh, lemon meringue pie is one of my favourite puddings ever, it's just so perfectly balanced. I adore lemon curd and as a treat bought myself a jar this weekend to eat on crumpets for breakfast. A-mazing. Your savoury tarts look and sound completely divine, especially the potato version. Good to know that homemade puff is actually worth the hassle too!
