I enjoyed The Miniaturist but felt the whole thing with the woman and her miniatures was built up a lot but then not explained enough which was disappointing. There was opportunity to do so much there which was missed. I liked Nella as a character though. xxGillian Roehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05080123177116154219noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4515007843975800463.post-17171218332345955362016-08-02T13:09:16.530+01:002016-08-02T13:09:16.530+01:00I really like the way German strings loads of word...I really like the way German strings loads of words together to make one big one! I'm glad to see you enjoy so many different types of books because I do too. My library account must look very strange to some people but I like to read about all sorts of things. I liked reading about how German words are put together. I've always been interested in that, some German words are so long and some of them look a lot like English words but I'm often surprised by all the "false friends" in German. I remember learning about that in French too, when I was studying it. I hope you're enjoying your summer break.Jennifer Hayshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04685253944514672324noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4515007843975800463.post-5547081920738401412016-08-01T21:31:20.667+01:002016-08-01T21:31:20.667+01:00It was interesting to hear what you thought about ...It was interesting to hear what you thought about The Miniaturist.
