May photo scavenger hunt
Amazing how fast time passes, it is already time for another photo scavenger hunt. This month's prompts were fun and I had plenty of choice for most of them.
The scavenger hunt is organised by Greenthumb over at Made with love. Have a look at all the other scavenger hunts, there are some amazing photos to see!
L is for Love: I know I know, a bit clichéd but I have been looking for an excuse to take a photo of my paper love heart.
Left: The only prompt left on my list for this month's scavenger hunt. I was undecided which interpretation of left I should look out for and left this prompt or last.
Puzzle: These are pieces from a puzzle we did as at Christmas time two years ago. There were a 1000 pieces, all showing 1970s shopping essentials. A good memory of a fun activity.
Letter: I found this photo on my memory card. Thank you Andrea. Letters and the beginning of a (German) letter.
Reflection: an imperfect reflection of shrubbery in a tiny puddle.
Fresh: freshly cut peonies for the living room. The flowers are so large that they need staking if left outside.
Tiny: the tiniest possible plumlets on our Victoria plum tree.
Demolition: what remains of a home.
A lovely collection Christina , I do like the scavenger hunts. I love the paper heart, did you make it?
ReplyDeleteThese are wonderful, Christina. You fulfilled all the prompts so well. That heart is so cute, did you make it? I loved seeing your little boys all ready for bed, they're adorable and they're sitting so nicely for their story. Richard looks like a very patient dad. I am sure those peonies were really nice in the living room, I love the way they smell. This was a fun post, thanks for sharing. I hope you're having a good weekend, friend.
ReplyDeleteI love your paper heart - did you make it yourself? I like your take on 'left' but my favourite has to be the reflection.
ReplyDeleteLovely peonies, I had to cut some of mine too. My favourite pics are Hidden and your paper heart...handmade???
ReplyDeleteA most enjoyable set of photos, Christina ~ a little bit of home and out and about! Lots of photos invoking the senses...aromas from garlic to peonies and the fresh outdoors, tactile puzzles ~
ReplyDeleteThanks for introducing me to the photo scavenger hunt. I had great fun taking part for the first time. I love all of your photographs, but I think my favourites are the tiny plumlets and the reflection :)

ReplyDeleteThese are beautiful photos, Christina! But the one of your husband and boys pulls at my heartstrings! Just darling! I love to do jigsaw puzzles, so that was fun! And the peonies! They don't grow them like that in Colorado! Have a great weekend!
ReplyDeleteGreat photos! I love your paper heart, gadget and fresh. It was lovely to see your 3 boys enjoying story time. My favourite though is reflection - so clever. x
ReplyDeleteWonderful photos, and I love the idea of a scavenger hunt. I have the same peonies as you, but they've finished now. I cut back the flowers today and swept up a thousand bright pink petals. Glad to see you guys like Owl Babies. Hope you have a lovely Sunday. CJ xx

What a lovely collection of things, especially your beautiful paper heart. It's the 'plumlets' that really made me smile though!
ReplyDeleteHey Christina,
ReplyDeleteI love this! 7pm is story time here too. Did you make the paper heart? It's lovely. And those peonies are superb. I'd love a peony in my garden, but am full to bursting. Maybe in my next one!
Leanne xx
So many great photos, I totally adore your L is for Love and your reflection shots.
ReplyDeleteThose peonies are beautiful...you do so well interpreting the prompts. Beautiful photos Christina.
ReplyDeleteI like the look of these scavenger hunts, sometimes it's really fun to have a prompt when taking photos. I can't believe how gorgeous your fresh peonies are. I'd love to have some growing in the garden. Instead, I make do with buying them in the supermarket. x
