meet Jack
As if life wasn't mad enough already, we have decided to make it madder still.... meet Jack, our newest family member. He is still too young to come to live with us but in just over two weeks we'll be taking him home.
Jack is Jack Russell terrier. It may not be the most imaginative name but we like it all the same. Funny enough, the puppy's current custodians have been calling him Jack, too.
I am not sure who is most exited but James and Sam are definitely in the running for the title. Sam has been studying books about puppies and puppy training and is probably best prepared, although of course his knowledge is rather theoretical. Having said that, he has been walking his dog friend Meg for well over a year now. James has been practicing his dog training skills with Jack's mother. Richard owned dogs before and has some experience with looking after one. I am good at cleaning up poop. Altogether, I think we'll do just fine. I just hope the cats won't move out!
Thank you all for stopping by and for writing lovely comments, I really love to hear from you. Have you got any nice plans for the weekend? We are going camping with friends! It is the last camping trip of the year and it can get quite chilly at night but I am ready, I spent some time gathering blankets, hot water bottles and warm base layers.
May the good weather return! Cx
So cute! Hope you have a great weekend camping. I'm spending two full days on a dry stone walling course!
ReplyDeleteJack is soooooo adorable!!! And he is one lucky fellow to live in a home with little people and lots of love. I think he will be so much fun to have and before you know it you won't remember what it was like without him.
ReplyDeleteHugs and congrats,
Merediht
He is so cute and will be part of the family before you know it!
ReplyDeleteSitting here with feet up and dog is lying on my legs. I wasn't at all keen on becoming a dog owner and I have no regrets. He looks really lovely. Have a good weekend!
ReplyDeleteI think every child needs to know the love of a dog, and I'm sure Jack has found just the perfect family for him.
ReplyDeleteEnjoy your weekend camping ... I've a feeling we'll still be painting!
Two top coats to go and team enthusiasm is waning.
Hello Jack, lovely to meet you!! xx
ReplyDeleteHe is adorable, have a great camping trip.
ReplyDeleteSuch a sweet face! I'm still in the 'how to convince my husband' stage... no hope of convincing him soon though (we're expecting...). Anyway, at least I can look forward to reading about Jack on your blog! :-) Have a lovely weekend camping!
ReplyDeleteHe is adorable I can see why you want to bring him home. Hope you enjoy your camping and don't get too cold!
ReplyDeleteSuch a lovely face and colouring :) Enjoy your camping trip x
ReplyDeleteOh isn't he the cutest! I think you'll have endless family fun with him. I hope you have a good camping trip, Christina. I'm off to Germany for the weekend, leaving A in charge, eek! Xx
ReplyDeleteI love my dog, and can't imagine life without her now. And I have just let the most adorable Labrador puppy called Chilli this morning. I think I have puppy envy. Jack looks adorable. He will bring much fun into the house. Enjoy your camping trip. We may go away this weekend. We have been forecast good weather. Our last trip before the van goes back to the barn.
ReplyDeleteLeanne xx
He looks gorgeous! Good luck...
ReplyDeleteOh my word, Jack is just THE cutest puppy ever! Give him a big cuddle from me next time you visit him please :-)
ReplyDeleteI love the little pup stage watching them discover the world... our two are 4 years old already but still think they are pups!
Happy camping and hope the sun shines for you,
xx
He will definitely add excitement (and poop) to your life! As with kids, the cute puppy years (months in their case), fly by. We have a bit of dog experience and one of the best things we have found are Kongs, which we fill with a spoonful of peanut butter. Keeps the dogs happy and out of trouble.
ReplyDeleteOh my goodness. He is adorable! Puppies are wonderful, they're a lot of work but a lot of fun too. Sort of like human babies! :) Enjoy your camping trip.
ReplyDeleteOh too cute, you are just going to love him I know. I hope you have a lovely time camping. CJ xx
ReplyDeleteOh the cuteness!!!! He's adorable Christina, you guys are going to love having him part of the family. Have a great time camping, we are hoping to do the same if the weather holds off! Mel x
ReplyDeleteWhat a cutie. My daughter has a Jack Russell puppy which is three months old now and great fun. He isn't overly good (or bad) but is already much better behaved and more obedient than our Fox Terrier. I'm sure Jack will be a great part of the family.
ReplyDeleteAh just no words to describe the adorableness... Jo x
ReplyDeleteAdorable! I am sure you will never regret bringing Jack in to your lives Christina, look forward to hearing how he settles in! X
ReplyDeleteWhat a cutie! My son Sam would love a dog too but sadly our garden is too small. x
ReplyDeleteOh. My. Goodness.
ReplyDeleteJack is too cute. Wow. Ik just want to kiss his soft little head. That last photo: small pup in a huge basket, gorgeous :-)
A new member of the family! Amazing :-) hope you had a fab last camping trip of the summer. X
ReplyDeleteAww Jack is SO so cute! I want a puppy!
ReplyDeleteI was sure I'd already commented.... but how cute is he?? Adorable!
ReplyDeleteOh, Christina - he's so adorable! He really is. I love Jack Russells and I'm sure you'll never regret this decision, he'll reward you with much love. I hope your camping trip was fun. We've been having some gloriously mild and sunny weather in Yorkshire lately, I hope you have too. x
ReplyDeleteHe is adorable, and at that delightful quiet cuddly stage ... but give him a few more weeks and he'll have you all running around after him! Life with a dog, or two (or six in my case!) is always better, but then clearly I would say that as I'm obviously biased. You're going to have so much fun with him x
ReplyDeleteJack is gorgeous! We have a Jack Russell terrior - rescued from a dog home about 10 years ago. She's a terror of a terrier but so friendly and cute. She's called Nonem. Strange name. My husband picked it. Enough said.
ReplyDeleteJack is gorgeous! You will enjoy him in your lives no doubt x
ReplyDeleteHe is so cute! We have a Jack Russell called Minnie and we just adore her.
