December photo scavenger hunt
I skipped the November photo scavenger hunt because I was too busy doing other things and I didn't carry my camera as much as I usually do but I did try and get something for each prompt this month.
The scavenger hunt is hosted by Greenthumb over at Made with love. Have a look at all the other submissions, there are some amazing photos to see!
Where you stood: I was standing next to our car when I spotted this crow far up a tree.
Down low: down below is the river Kelvin running through Dawsholm Park
A view from here: 'here' being a path around the boating pond in Victoria Park
A favourite thing: I have many favourite things. This is my favourite potholder.
Front door: quite unbelievably, this is our inner front door. Not very pretty but there you go.
Sweet: these are my favourite sweets. Chewy strawberry marshmallow covered with sugar.
Christmas: for the children, Christmas is all about presents. This photo shows Alistair who really didn't want any pyjamas.
Decoration: we have so many on our Christmas tree that it is difficult to see the actual tree.
Tree: I take many pictures of trees on our walks. I am not too sure what kind this is because I forgot to look at the crown of the tree
Tradition: it has become a tradition to make a Lebkuchen house during the Christmas holidays.
Black & white: not quite black and white but very nearly
Whatever you want: there are still some leaves that resist decomposition. I assumed whatever you want refers to whatever photo I want to show. What I really want is hard to capture: the pot of gold at the end of the rainbow.
Why not join in yourself? It is fun. This is my last post in 2014 and I would like to thank every body for popping in to read my blog this year. I look forward to another year of collected memories.
Also a warm welcome to all my new readers, I'll try and pop over to your blogs to say hello over the next few days.
An now you must excuse me, I am busy baking lovely things for our Hogmanay party later this evening. I wish you all a Happy New Year!
Cx
I think you have some fantastic pictures there. My parents have the same frosted leafy glass in their house; it might not be too popular these days but I'm actually very fond of it! Happy New Year to you too xx
