good things come in threes or fours or fives....
The sun shining through the living room bay window, making the room all cozy.

Finding that elusive single snowdrop again after the snow fall.

Sledging in Dawsholm Park with three of four children, Richard and Jack on Saturday.

Recovering from a fun night out with amazing friends. We went to a drag show in the local bowling club. I am saying no more.
*
Walking along the river Kelvin with all four children, Richard and Jack on Sunday. Two family outdoor activities in one weekend, almost unheard of! The teenager coming along even rarer.

Making progress on a Missoni inspired scarf. I am more of an H&M girl but I do like this scarf.

Eating steamed treacle pudding with double cream.

How was your weekend?
Lovely snowy pictures. Wintry walk for us this aft with dog but snow has turned to slush and fields were muddy so not so pretty and no teenager as she was struggling with homework after dragging me round shops again this morning. Keep warm - I'm off to light fire.
ReplyDeleteHilarious, love a drag show. You are so lucky to get snow, my boys would be in heaven with having snow to play in. xo
ReplyDeleteBeautiful snowy scenes. So nice to have the whole family with you. Sounds like you had a busy but fab weekend.
ReplyDeleteI have just been sorting animals out. And today went with son to do photo shoot up a hill. Very cold, glad to get home.
Rosezeeta.
Sounds like a great weekend, particularly outings that involve all the children. Lovely to have something planned for later in the year, a caravan in Cornwall sounds idyllic.
ReplyDeleteLovely photos and it sounds like a lovely weekend too!
ReplyDeleteA perfect weekend!
ReplyDeleteWhat a lovely weekend, I'm so glad you all had some fun together. Wishing you a good week too. CJ xx
ReplyDeleteSounds like a bizarre night out! Still no snow here, kids v disgusted

It is a great feeling when you can finally get the teens to join in with everyone. We had to drive north 40 minutes for good snow to x-country today. Bonus day off tomorrow here in the States so it will be catching up on the house work.
ReplyDeletehappy post Christina. have a good week. Jo x

Gorgeous pictures - especially the robin. We had a cold weekend too so I crocheted myself some socks. They were very cosy.
ReplyDeleteHey Christina,
ReplyDeleteNone of my snowdrops have some up this year. Your weekend sounds like the perfect mix. We had a similar one here. Will you be staying at the same campsite as last year?
Leanne xx
I haven't seen any bulbs come up here yet. I'm watching closely, though. It sounds like you had a wonderful weekend.
ReplyDeleteI don't think I want to know anymore about the drag show. And you were worried about sledding after dark? ;)
ReplyDeleteSounds like you had a great weekend. Love all your wintry photos especially the one with the robin. Gorgeous! x
ReplyDeleteWhat a fab weekend. That scarf looks brilliant, you'll have to tell us if it's heinously tricky to knit! Have a good week xx
