rolling down a hillside...
It has been a few days since I checked in here. I have been away with my family and friends for the long September weekend. This is a unique Glaswegian holiday I think. I am still sorting through photos, piles of washing and other assorted camping debris. A full account of our adventure is in the making (it may be a while) but for now, a little teaser.
I did wake up for the lunar eclipse on Sunday night but didn't take any photos. Instead, I captured the moon rolling down a hillside the night before. Isn't it amazing?
Cheerio for now! Cxx

Wow, what a photo! It's amazing, the moon is enormous! xx
ReplyDeleteYes, it is amazing. Unfortunately, my small part of world had overcast skies on Saturday and Sunday night. The moon was high in the sky before the clouds lifted.

ReplyDeleteBrilliant picture! I managed to get myself out of bed to see the eclipse, went outside, looked up but couldn't spot the moon anywhere. Typical!
ReplyDeleteI love that photo. The moon came up from behind the mountain here little by little, and I liked the point where it seemed to be perched on top of one of the smaller peaks.
ReplyDeleteAn amazing photo, clever you. Looking forward to hearing all about your weekend away.

ReplyDeleteThat is a fabulous photo. I have posted the same moon on Saturday night in today's post. Isn't it funny that we were looking at the same thing but in different places. The world really is a small place! Jo x
