autumn walk
Alistair and I went on a walk today. We chatted. We watched the ducks and teenage ducklings. We laughed about Jack going mad. We picked blackberries and ate them. Alistair rolled in colourful leave piles. I wanted to do that, too, but felt a bit too self conscious. We told each other how much we loved each other. We had a lovely time.
Wishing you a lovely Sunday! Cxx
What a wonderful day. One to treasure I think. CJ xx
ReplyDeleteA real treasured moment for you both, but especially I am sure for you!! Wonderful photos, Alistair looks so very happy and I am sure that you were smiling just as much too! xx
ReplyDeleteWonderful, wonderful pictures, a day to savor.
ReplyDeleteHe is so cute and he looks incredibly happy. I especially love the first photo. We used to roll down the hill sideways into the leaves. As long as you stayed away from trees, it was really fun!
ReplyDeleteGreat autumn colours - and that face. Absolute joy!!
ReplyDeleteLook at those leaves! Gorgeous. Your walk sounds wonderful, the memories you are building together are ones to be treasured for a long time.
ReplyDeleteI love it when we get an Autumn with crunchy leaves! Beats the usual soggy, slimey situation hands down!
ReplyDeleteHe is absolutely adorable, and little boys just love their Mum's so much. Those leaves are so beautiful.
ReplyDeleteHugs,
Meredith
This was beautiful, Christina! The colour of the leaves perfectly matches Alistair's hair. You should enter one of these in a photo contest!
ReplyDeleteHey Christina,
ReplyDeleteSuch a beautifully heartfelt post. His gorgeous hair matches the leaves! (just seen Kristie's comment above...) I just showed tgis to Olly, and he said 'my friend from the caravan!' Olly loved that caravan...
Have a fab week, lovely.
Leanne xx
