Monday relaxation

How are you all? It is Monday evening and I have just come back from a walk Jack. It is amazing just how restorative a walk can be. As I walked along a familiar part of the canal, I mentally recapped the day and ticked off things achieved and thought about the day ahead. The worries of the day have fallen of my shoulders and I feel relaxed and pleasantly tired. How do you relax after a busy day at work?

  1. I nap! It's one of the perks of being retired.

  2. I find my morning dog walk prepares me for the day. At the end of the day, Gin always helps me :) x

  3. Fabulous photos Christina. I love walking with my camera too. We are quite alike I think. I find it very therapeutic just wandering along immersed in sights and sounds. Have a great Tuesday, hope it's still sunny :) B x

  4. I tend to do my walking in the morning, it helps to clear my head and I'm ready to get stuck into the day by the time I get back. In the evening, I'm knitting and that's my relaxation. Love your pictures as usual! xx

  5. I'm with Jo. Dog walk in the morning to think and formulate my plans and a small gin in the evening. Love the reflective image in the water.

  6. I usually knit, crochet or stitch to relax but I know what you mean about walking. Sometimes I just wish someone else was at home to take Archie for his morning walk, especially in winter when the weather isn't good, but once I'm out there I really enjoy it. Lovely photos.

  8. Retirement brings with it a lot of perks, we can do what we want when we want to do it. I do love a stroll along the dyke.

  12. A good walk with a friend and the dohs helps me put the world to rights. I like to do a bit of hand sewing, knitting or tv watching in the evenings when I can x
