shared happiness
The most beautiful blue in the garden |
Nearly there! Love this simple clematis. |
Instant happiness with a pot of freshly planted viola |
I ca't remember what colour these will flower! Orange? Pink? |
Can't wait for these Rudbeckia to spread cheerfulness with their yellow flowers |
These peonies have been going for more than 12 years! I moved them to a new spot two years ago and they continue to thrive |
Aquilegia are always pretty and never let me down. |
I was surprised to see my sweat peas growing but so vigorously after a cold winter |
Lilly of the Valley, right outside my sewing room/office window. Can't wait to have the window open and inhale the fragrance. |
I thought I'd share a bit more happiness with you today. I took these photos last weekend, when it was dry and warm. Today, we had several short hail storms, wind and rain and I need a good dose of luck to get home dry today.
Thanks for all your birthday wishes, I enjoyed reading these and they have prolonged my post birthday high for a wee while longer. xx
Enjoyed all the photos. Can't wait till I'm strong enough to be out in the garden, I miss it.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful spring growth. I planted a container of flowers the other day as well, it felt like time. CJ xx
ReplyDeleteIsn't Spring a wonderful season. I enjoyed all your happy plant photos. Those Sweet Peas will be amazing...you have so many of them.
ReplyDeleteNice photos, especially the top two.
ReplyDeleteI love this time of year with all the promise that the garden holds. You've got some wonderful plants, your garden will be a riot of colour. My lily of the valley is already flowering, such pretty little flowers that look so delicate, though it's actually a tough old plant. We've got sunshine again today after rain throughout the night but it's much cooler than it has been.
ReplyDeleteGorgeous flowers. Amazing how advanced they are despite your weather. Never have any luck with aquilegias! B x
ReplyDeleteIt was fun to see all your growing things! My garden is coming along too! ((hugs)), Teresa :-)
ReplyDeleteA joy to see all your gorgeous plants. So glad that you managed to extend your Birthday. Hope you managed to get home dry, sounds like the weather we are having here, not good.
ReplyDeleteMissed your last post so belated birthday greetings to you. It's so heartening to see the garden waking up, isn't it? Even the one here is showing signs of life (probably due to the absence of trampling from four big paws).
ReplyDeleteAmazing how just a little bit of green makes us happy, isn't it?
ReplyDeleteHappy belated birthday! Lovely to see all the growth in your garden. Peonies are one of my most favourite flowers xx
ReplyDeleteI missed that it was your birthday, hope it was a good one :) Lovely collection of photos.
