and so it all begins again
Hello new year! It arrived with a laughter, lots of kissing and hugging. We had a full house for Hogmanay and I enjoyed every minute of the party with friends, neighbours, assorted teenagers and a few pre-teens. I lay my head on the pillow at 3:45 am.
Now, the house is tidy and clean, glass and cans and Christmas tree have been taken to the recycling facility and all is peaceful. I have been listening to the Woman's Hour podcast on Radio 4 for a while but with the dark setting in, two 10 year olds have taken over the living room and are noisily playing Fifa19 on the Switch. No doubt, two 11 year olds will soon be back from cycling around the neighbourhood and join in the fun. I'll get back to my podcast later, when the youngsters are in bed.
I thought I'd take this opportunity to wish you all a happy new year. I am very lucky to have so many regular and occasional readers! Thank you for leaving comments, I appreciate and enjoy every single one of them and it fills me with happiness to have so many friends all around the world. It is nice to be part of a community. Thank you!
Christina xx

Glad you enjoyed your party. Have a wonderful year.
ReplyDeleteYour home sounds lively and happy and busy. Ours has gotten a lot quieter since our son's family moved to their own home. I'm glad we became blog friends this year.

ReplyDeleteHappy New Year, Christina, and it sounds as if you and your family had a great port-Christmas as well as a good Christmas. We still have the holiday decos around as there is no real rush to take all down. We have no jobs, children or pets to attend to so we can celebrate a bit longer!
ReplyDeleteHappy New Year! Sounds like a wonderful time was had by all, I hope 2019 is full of health, happiness and laughter :)
