postcards from Cornwall
I don't know about you but I always feel a little down in the dumps after a lovely holiday. The thought of the daily grind is a bit overwhelming. I am slowly finding my balance and I am looking back at my photos, thinking about the lovely time we've had. The few stressful holiday moments quietly slip into the background to leave room for the enjoyable, exiting and beautiful memories:
I hope you enjoyed this postcard story of our holiday. I think I'll be bookmarking this page for a few weeks to draw energy from the beauty I have captured. Cxx

ReplyDeleteChristina, these are beautiful photo collages! You did a great job of arranging them. The one of little Jack made me smile. I love the large photo in your "walks" collage, following the path through the tall grasses.
ReplyDeleteLovely collages! I love Cornwall, my aunt lived there for 5 years of my childhood so I used to visit often as a child until she moved back when I was 10. I haven't been that way at all since 1999 but I really want to holiday in Cornwall next year.
ReplyDeleteLovely photos that bring back equally lovely memories of a holiday we had in Portscatho a couple of years ago. I'm the opposite and I'm always ready and excited to be coming home at the end of a holiday. It recharges my batteries. I'm ready to go away now though!
ReplyDeleteOhh, what wonderful photos! Thank you for sharing xx
ReplyDeleteWhat an adventure! It looks like a wonderful time was had by all! Holidays are always more stress for Mom than anyone else, but I am glad you can look back on it with fond memories, forgetting those "unperfect" moments that often happen on little trips like these. Thanks for sharing your little piece of Cornish heaven!
ReplyDeleteLovely holiday. I'm glad you had a good time; and keep the holiday feeling as long as possible!

ReplyDeleteIt looks like a holiday to look back on for many years to come, never mind a few weeks.
ReplyDeleteReally beautiful holiday photographs Christina, looks like you all had a marvellous time. I know what you mean about feeling down in the dumps post-holiday, I felt the same. It takes a while to get back into the rhythm of everyday life. Hope you feel more 'up and at 'em' soon X
ReplyDeleteHey Christina,
ReplyDeleteYou've captured the flavour of your holiday perfectly. And I love the six of you in a row. I spend a lot of time admiring the rooftops of Cornwall too; it's the higgledy piggledy nature of them I guess.
Leanne xx
